Today nhcouture makes 5 years old!!! Last year up until now has been a lot of transitions for me personally, so with this new year I will be more active here and catching up on a lot of my new family life goals.

Relaxing hasn’t been easy for me to do with so many things on my mind that I want to do And have to get done. But health wise it’s best to allow yourself some time to unwind and relax. I had to remind myself that things always work out for the best. God knows best. Now, lately I been having tons of work to complete to add to my already full load. I needed to relax and collect my thoughts, so my daughters and I headed to the beach. We made our store run to get ice and snacks.

Hi! I have been away from here for a little while busy with school work and a lot of things, but I wanted to get caught up here. I have a lot of new things to share. Today is a good read by J.Johnson that I’m sharing with you today. I hope you enjoy!
In order to make the best out of things we have to be willing to fight for our best life in each day. We must be willing to give ourselves the best chance at greatness possible, and this can only be done if our vices have a minimal effect on our lives. There will always be things in our life that need to be conquered, as no one is perfect, but we should never let these things conquer us because if they do, you will not be the best you can be.
We must also be willing to keep as much peace with the people around us as possible. Not only should we keep peace, but a lot of times we will have to be an example of how a person is really strong because they never let anyone take their peace from them.
Doing these things on a continuous basis will help to make us the best people that we may possibly become by our life’s end.

Changes🌹
Don’t ever forget that in our life, nothing remains unchanged everything changes at some point of time. We must learn how to adapt to every situation and changes.
Towards the end of last year going into the New Year, I have gone through many changes within my life, career and in my family. So I’m still adjusting and getting things in order with a new set of goals for myself. A lot of times we get comfortable with how things were and don’t want to be open to new situations that takes place in our life. This was me for a long time. Now I embrace new changes and deal with each situation and change as they come. I look forward to more positive changes that are coming in my life.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
My mom lost her battle to breast cancer 7-4-99. That time of the year is always a difficult time as her birthday is right before that time. I have wrote about my mom’s battle with breast cancer. Throughout it all she still managed to spend time with her grandkids and help me through some tough situations I was facing. She taught me how to remain calm, positive and face things. She was a strong woman. I miss her so much.
Every day of the year is Breast Cancer Awareness for my family and I. Sending prayers and support to all those going through, and admiration to all the survivors! Prayers and condolences to all those who have lost their battle. Praying for a cure. Keep hope.

Disappointment
I learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect theirs. Being a good person doesn’t guarantee that others will be good people too. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or walk away..
I’ve had my share of disappointments but I know it’s God way of redirecting me in another direction. Obeying and following is our choice as we have free will. So just know that everyone faces disappointments at some points in life, dust yourself off and keep moving. Something greater is waiting. Goodnight everyone!

Life Lessons….Letting Go
Letting go, even if it hurts, doesn’t mean you have to let go of everything. You just have to let go of the person and your feelings for her/him but the memories will always be there whether it’s good or bad. Because everytime you remember those memories, it will always put a smile into your heart. And be glad that once in your life this person made you happy and put colors into your life even if it’s just for a while.
