Determination

Sometimes we look at our life and wish things were different. We sit and hope that they will change but often as time goes by and we look back, we realize we are still in the same place. For change does not need time but rather determination. The will to change your life for the better.
I’m in transitioning part of my life where I’m making changes for the better. Things are beginning to turn around finally. I had to refocus and am making necessary changes to keep moving forward.

One of the changes is right here on Nhcouture! I’m getting a blog makeover! State boards for Pharmacy coming soon as well! And a few other surprises coming also….

New Beginnings

I know it’s been a while since I last posted in here, but I have been really busy getting everything with school and other important things that I have going on. I wanted to share that I got accepted into University of Laverne. I’m so excited to be on my journey to get my degree in Business Administration. I actually started already Spring Semester. So I have been adjusting and getting things in order for myself and family. This new year began with some new set goals for myself and this was one of my many goals. Trust there are more good things coming, no matter what distractions that come my way. I have some new things to share soon with you all. I have made time to get a few new things to show here, but not today. So I hope you all that are setting goals for yourself are continuing to work on them. Don’t let no one or distractions steer you away from what’s important.

Every new dawn brings a fresh chance, it brings new hope; it sheds new light on old problems. A new chance for a new beginning again, we come to understand God by understanding ourselves; if we cannot understand God’s creation. We can never understand God, remember that everything. In life is seasonal, the good times will come as the snow melts and the sunshine of spring will surely shine through.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My mom lost her battle to breast cancer 7-4-99. That time of the year is always a difficult time as her birthday is right before that time. I have wrote about my mom’s battle with breast cancer. Throughout it all she still managed to spend time with her grandkids and help me through some tough situations I was facing. She taught me how to remain calm, positive and face things. She was a strong woman. I miss her so much.

Every day of the year is Breast Cancer Awareness for my family and I. Sending prayers and support to all those going through, and admiration to all the survivors! Prayers and condolences to all those who have lost their battle. Praying for a cure. Keep hope.

Things Happening When You Least Expect It…

God knows what your silent heart wants. Even if you don’t include it in your prayers. He hears what your heart whispers. He may not give it to you now but someday, when you least expect it, things will happen in the best possible way.

This always happens to me, when I seem overwhelmed with a lot of things. God shows up and shows out. They always are right on HIS Time! So don’t get discourage because you don’t see instant results with situations and things happening in your life. Learning to have patience and to remain calm is what God can bring us by praying, and leaning on faith and understanding.

So the next time things don’t happen instantly, stay focused on all the positives and keep moving forward. God hears you! Enjoy your Sunday. God Bless.

Love….

Being able to love someone truly, madly, deeply, crazily and being loved in return is one of the most beautiful gifts and blessings from God. If you have it, treasure it. If you don’t, have faith some day it will for if that love is meant to be yours, it will happen at the right place, at the right time with the right person.

Cancer Survivor!!!!

I received this wonderful email from Mrs. Heather Von St. James. Her touching story brought me to tears and smiles, because God is so good! I couldn’t wait to share this with you all. I Thank You and your family Heather for picking my blog to share your Inspirational story. You are a strong woman……….

Hi there!

The reason I have reached out to you is because of your blog! I am 44 and a mother to a quirky little 7 year old, Lily. She is my only child, and my whole world. When Lily was just 3 1/2 months old, I was diagnosed with mesothelioma; a type of cancer that kills most people within 2 years. As I’m sure you can imagine, the first thing that came to mind when I was diagnosed was my baby girl and how I wasn’t going to be able to watch her grow up.

After intense treatment and recovery, I’m still here 7 years later and cancer free! My journey with cancer was a terrifying one and I’d like to turn my pain into purpose and become someone that other people can look to for guidance, inspiration, and hope in situations like my own. My husband and I recently participated in a short video about my experience with cancer and I contacted you because I feel that your blog would be an excellent place to share. I’m hoping to use this video as a tool to raise awareness of this horrible little known cancer that is such a deadly killer (and sadly, 100% preventable).

I would love it if you would be willing to share my video on your blog with your readers. Here is the link to my video: http://www.mesothelioma.com/heather

Let me know what you think!

Heather
