Goals…

Today I finally had some time off to get some much needed things done at the college. This semester I decided to take less units while working and other ventures that I’m adding on. I am slowly getting close to finishing and graduating, which had me thinking that I’m finally in a better position to make time for me. I still have some stuff to overcome but a way continues to be made.

I made some more goals to accomplish by the end of this year! I’m grateful and thankful of every blessing that is given to me.

Trying to stay positive in everything that comes my way have kept me moving forward. I’m always trying out new things to keep me and my thoughts on the right path. I do have my bad days but I have so many things going on that keeps me happy and content.

It’s not easy staying positive when you have many obstacles in the way. My advice is to work through them and focus on things you can change and continue to add more positive changes to that.

Happiness & Self Love

Happiness and self love are moment to moment choices. There will inevitably be times when we don’t make them. The beautiful thing is that every moment is a new opportunity to choose again. Every moment is a chance to apply what we’ve learned. We need to have the courage to do what we can and be happy with that.

Self love has been an ongoing thing with me. I am grateful and appreciative of my own growth and every chance I get to share my time with my family and others, but I continue to do take on goals, do things and take time out for ME….

Time

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. I haven’t signed on here in a while…Life has just become more busy outside of here. But I plan to write more and get back to blogging more. Life is short so take some time out for yourself and use it wisely.

Distractions

Life definitely have it’s ups and downs that makes us lose our focus. Distractions can take us away from what’s important at times. We have to remind ourselves to stay focused on our priorities. Don’t let distractions keep you from achieving your full potential. Take time our for your goals and yourself. Self love is important also❤️

Away for a while

Hello Everyone! I have been away from here while getting things in my life in order. A lot of new changes are going on and coming for me. Here are some summer memories of me……My youngest two out of 5 kids are growing up so quickly! Teenagers now 😩😩Shopping and yes in my comfortable Nike are a must lolBeach day and Bon Fire 🔥 was a lot of fun!Costco Runs and the samples are the best! My Bestie came to visit ❤️👯‍♀️❤️

Well I’m still collecting more memories and enjoying the rest of my summer with my kids and friends. I look forward to getting back here writing and sharing some positive thoughts and fun stuff. ❤️

Inner Peace and Peace of mind

We can only help make our lives and our world more peaceful, when we ourselves feel peace. Peace already exists within each of us, if we only allow ourselves to feel its comfort. Peace of mind begins when we stop thinking about how far we have to go, or how hard the road has been, and just let ourselves feel peace. Peace of mind gives us the strength to keep trying and keep walking along the path that we KNOW is right for our lives.

Reflections 

Funny how life goes on but leaves those marks on our lives. This time of reflection certainly brings the happiest memories with a dash of sadness.

I spent my morning listening and watching some old school videos from the 90’s. As I listened it brought me back to some of the most happiest times in my life. I was enjoying my last couple years in high school with my close friends, partying, going out to eat and meeting new people, and also we all had good grades in school. I was preparing to go off to college, making our visits to different colleges. Boy did we have some fun times that makes me smile. 

The 90’s is also brought some of happiest moments after high school I had my first born daughter. We would go to my older cousins baseball games at the park, have family picnics, family gatherings where we would eat and watch Video Soul and movies. 

I could go on and on with all these great memories here. I have so many funny stories that makes me smile and laugh. I share them with my kids.

10 Ways To Stress Less

This was a good read by J. Johnson. I have been going through a lot of stressful things that is a lot to deal with but what I do to help myself is I pray and meditate. Blogging helps me as well. Staying involved in positive things I enjoy doing. These are different ways that do work for me. 

“Did you know that stress is the leading cause to more than half of the illnesses many of us are plagued with around the world that are life threatening? There are many causes to stressors in our every day lives, and one of the most common places that we stress in is our own work place. 


Especially in times such as these, when many are unsure of their next move, and have to be extra careful about every decision made so that they will continue in good standing with their jobs, the pressures at work seem very substantial. 

So, make it a point to have some points of relaxation throughout the daily grind. If your office allows you to do so, take naps from 20 to 30 minutes at a time, or take a break for a few minutes out of every hour to refresh your brain, and to optimize your brain to better handle stress and pressure”
