Flaws

My life isn’t perfect, I have flaws; I have made many mistakes; Have many challenge; But through it all, am grateful for each moment. What I am, what have I been through, all I hope to be, I owe it all to God. Am thankful, happy and grateful for every experience.

Something Better is Waiting….

” In life we all lose one thing or the other; might be a job, relationship etc. It’s very normal. But don’t grieve over your losses. Why? Because God always has a better replacement for them. So whenever you lose something, tell yourself, there’s something better waiting for me.”

I have felt sadness many times in my life from losing both of my parents, in relationships, in my marriage, and many other circumstances. I remember thinking what is next for me. I also remember thinking that I don’t like these changes. But not realizing that God always will step in when you need him to and will fill any voids that need be filled. He did it for me. Of course I am still a work in progress but I do know that there is…..Something Better waiting For Me And You Also Who is Reading This And Needed To Hear This!!!

Poetry ๐ŸŒธ

Today I’m sharing a poem entitled “THE STRENGTH OF A WOMAN” by Naomi Johnson. I have been having a rough time for a couple of weeks now. What I noticed about myself is my mom starts to shine through me. I watched her go through things and always managed to remain calm and strong. I’m the same way although it took me some time to get here.

Thanks be to God for wisdom and strength! Thanks for allowing my mom to show how things should be handled. I love and miss you mom (RIP โค๏ธ). I hope you all enjoy her poem…..

“The strength of a woman is her kindhearted ways
that she forever displays.
Itโ€™s her loving confident smile that takes you to the
highest place with the glimpse of determination
shone upon her face.
The strength of a woman is the amazing ability to
withstand pain bring life into this world even if
the man does not want to entertain.
Itโ€™s the ability to raise her child on her own when
the man left her all alone to support them until
they are grown.
The strength of a woman is the intrinsic style
to protect like a child without being hostile.
Itโ€™s the humble heart she shows
that warms a soul when your spirits feeling low.
The strength of a woman knows how to restrain her
tongue when insults are being flung.
Itโ€™s the lovely expression she conveys with the eyes
and respect for herself…she does not denies.
The strength of a woman is the devoted traits
she has standing by her man side when problems
arise.
Itโ€™s her inspirational words she gives her mate
making him feel oh so great.
The strength of a woman is her gentle touch
you love so much.
Itโ€™s her loyal love to one guy she continues to create
without being irate.
The strength of a woman is her intellectual mind,
oh so chic with the words she speaks.
Itโ€™s the versatile
qualities she uses without spirit of guile.
The strength of a woman is learning how to love
when she has been hurt over again without
committing a sin.
The strength of a woman is not her traditional love
she has to live on, itโ€™s her unconditional spiritual love
that has not yet gone.”

Doing Your Best

Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your won. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger.

Appreciate Life!!

Be grateful that you are still alive, still kicking, and still able to fight another day, because not everyone was even fortunate enough to wake up and continue to pray for a better tomorrow.

I have a lot to be grateful for and appreciate. I am grateful that God has kept me alive and well. My daughters and I are very grateful. We were in a automobile accident recently and are well. I’m recovering. Sending a Big Shout Out to “My Friends and Bro” who looked out for us. Thank You all for your help and support. And also Thanks for all the phone calls, messages etc. I appreciate a lot. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Persistence

โ€œTo sit patiently with a yearning that has not yet been fulfilled, and to trust that, that fulfillment will come, is quite possibly one of the most powerful “magic skills” that human beings are capable of. It has been noted by almost every ancient wisdom tradition.โ€

Last night at Woman’s Bible Study our lesson was about a persistent humble and faithful woman that went to God to have her daughter healed. This woman stayed persistent and even though she was belittled, she kept her mind Christlike and because of her humbleness her daughter was healed by God.

In our life there are times when ones piss us off and do things to us, and trust it’s hard not to want to return the same actions back to them. In doing so we can miss our Blessings. God wants us to remain humble and christlike. In other words don’t allow anyone to block our blessings by stooping to their negative behavior or actions.

If the woman had of went off on God when she was called a dog, her daughter might not have gotten healed. Her actions might have changed her whole course in life for her and daughter. When I was sitting in Women’s Bible study, I was thinking wow this lesson I really needed to hear. Remember God knows our hearts and minds. He knows if our actions match up with our hearts. Stay humble and remember your blessings. God’s love is through our hearts.

Mental Health Awareness

My mom suffered from some form of depression and anxiety attacks. She was schizophrenic and I watched her as a child raise me and my brothers while trying to cope and deal with her own struggles. She still was an excellent mother to us, although there were times I seen her breaking down crying and scared to drive her car.

Now as an adult sometimes I go through my periods of depression and anxiety. But I don’t take any medications like my mom, I get my Bible and I read. I also have my positive hobbies and things I love doing that helps me. My kids also keeps me motivated and helps me stay focused. I try to stay away from anyone or persons that has helped to trigger some of my depression and anxiety. Going through life can be rough but we have to work hard to keep our minds healthy. I know I do. There were things I had to help my mom with when I was younger and also as a teen. I constantly used to remind her that things would be ok. We would be alright. And before she passed, it was like she waited to hear that from me before she took her last breath. I had let her know that the kids and I would be ok. That the family would be ok. She could go be with God.

Those of you that are out there going through things just know you are not alone. Even if it seem like it in your mind. Prayers going up for you.

Women….

“Why Women Cry”

Why Women Cry

A little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?” “Because I’m a woman,” she told him.

“I don’t understand,” he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, “And you never will.”

Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?”

“All women cry for no reason,” was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, “God, why do women cry so easily?”

God said, “When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed.”

“You see my son,” said God, “the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart – the place where love resides.”
