As of yesterday evening I passed my final and completed Pharmacy Technician program at Cal State University Dominguez Hills! This was one of my goals I had set to complete along with my other college goals, that I’m still working on now. Over the years I would put my educational goals on the back burner for my family needs and other things that I felt was going to hinder me from completing any college program.
But I decided one year that I was moving forward no matter what I was facing, and let me tell you it was not easy. One of the hardest in all this was having lost both of my parents to some form of cancer. I know they would be proud and happy to witness their daughter achievements.
Last night I couldn’t wait to make it home to tell my children that I had passed my final and completed my program! My brother Walter and I talked outside about everything as well. He was happy for me.
My message for you all is to keep going after what you want in life for yourself. Set an example for your children and family. Show them perseverance is well worth it! Also first a lot of praying. I pray constantly.
Merry Christmas to Me! I have more completed goals coming by the end of this year…stay tuned.❤️💋
💕💕Thanks For Stopping By💕💕
This weekend was a busy one for me. Taking care of school things and also preparing for the holidays. My kids are on vacation this week, so I plan to do some fun stuff with them as well. Holiday time is sometimes hard for me, as I miss doing things with my mom and also this will be our first Thanksgiving and Christmas without my dad. I miss both of my parents. So I decided to make it as festive as possible for my family.
I’m cooking as I do every year, and we will do some shopping over the weekend. My sons want to go shopping on Black Friday. They already have their items picked out. I took them one year before and they were excited about all the good deals and bargains on the video games and electronics. My dad even went shopping with us that year and gave them their own money to spend as they please. My sons been set on going every year now. I just look forward to spending time with them and creating more family memories with them!
I received my free beauty box from Julep! I did manicures with my daughters!
Thanks for stopping by!❤️💋
Over the weekend I did things with my children and also a little shopping. With the holidays approaching I’m preparing early. I can’t believe we are just a couple weeks away from Thanksgiving already. The only things my children want to know is what’s on our Thanksgiving menu and about their Christmas list that they already gave me, lol.
One of the sales I always make it to was at one of my favorite stores Nordstrom. It was their mascara madness sale! Buy two and get one free, from any makeup counter. They have it twice a year and I make sure to stock up both times. I also made a trip to Fashion Fair cosmetics counter in Macy’s. We also brought warm and fuzzy gloves, hats, and scarves getting ready for the cold weather. Since my surgery on my neck I make sure to keep scarves in all weather changes.
I had a pretty good weekend with my children. We all attended church on Sunday and also spent time with extended family.
💕💕Thanks For Stopping By!💋❤️
This holiday season have been a hard one for us. Very sad and rough but I wanted to share some of the things we were able to enjoy.
Snow at The Grove!!!
Dad, the holidays won’t be the same. We love you.
Happy New Year’s. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless.
Spending the last weekend before Christmas shopping with my family, and can’t decide exactly what to buy a couple of them. Too many ideas to choose from. It really have you thinking, just how well do you know things about them, lol. Well I’m sure I will pick them something that they will love! With that in mind you all have a safe and great weekend. I’m going to finish enjoying mines. Also send special prayers up for my dad. He is very ill and it’s been difficult on us all. Love you daddy….
Thanks for stopping by!
It’s that time of the year again to start getting ready for the Holidays. I will be cooking, as I always do.
To get ready for Thanksgiving, you may want to stock up on paper goods such as napkins, nice quality sturdy paper plates and cups, and cutlery to use with them. If you get them ahead of time, you will have one less thing to have to deal with. Check the shopping ads for sales early and use coupons. I buy my Turkeys’ as early as possible and put in my deep freezer until time to thaw. Get a head count ahead of time also and try to determine if any of your guests or family will be staying overnight. I look forward to having family come and visit or even staying overnight. Especially one of my favorite cousins, lol! Normally we go shopping Black Friday and enjoy getting ready for Christmas.
Getting ready for Christmas, make sure to buy wrapping paper and gift cards as early as possible. This way you can get your cards addressed and mailed out to avoid any delays with the holiday rush. I like wrap my gifts as I buy them. This is why I like to have my wrapping paper early. That way, you can have a relaxing time during the holidays and not be stuck out in the malls during the Christmas shopping rush! What better way to make your holidays less stressful than by being prepared and planning ahead?
Good luck and happy shopping!
Thanks for stopping by….❤
