I took my wedding dress to Ramona Southard of Love And Lace Bridal Salon. I was having a hard time finding someone to tailor my dress, but when I went in to let Ramona know about my dilemma she let me know that my dress would be taken cared of. So here is a recap from yesterday.

This how the dress looked at first. We decided to have more layers added without making it look frumpy. So Ramona and I sat down to discuss what would be done and prices. We set my first fitting on April 19.

When I went in on April 19, I didn’t know what to expect. My younger daughters and I went in and was offered water while we sat down in the showroom. She brought the dress out for me to try on. When I put the dress on I was immediately pleased with how it turned out. See our first plan to add about 4 inches to the dress. But instead Ramona had to do things differently which turned out better instead.

This is what the dress looks like almost finished. I love it! The finishing touches are just to add more lining to front and back, dress was ready for pick up May 1 costing $55. So the total I spent on this dress, which includes the chiffon fabric I purchased from Joann’s that cost $17.48 with a coupon. My dress total is $82.48. My original dress would have been over $220 for the dress.
