Welcome! I’m a mom to 5 beautiful and amazing kids and a college student majoring in Business Administration/ Management. I have always had a passion for fashion make-up fragrances music sports and books. I want to share all the things I love here with you all. Hope you enjoy my blog. Thank You
Greetings Everyone! I was inspired to participate in a wedding challenge with Lover.ly along with other bloggers! My mom is who inspired my wedding style. Her wedding was elegant and classy and as a young girl I was always kept in big dresses with bows with the shoes to match.
I picked a wedding dress that fits my personality and style. The wedding dress has a little lace that I love. It’s very elegant and classy. The purple dress is for my bridesmaids it actually compliments my dress and romantic, intimate setting. My shoes and accessories are kept simple. My hair is pulled back in an up do showing off my beautiful face. My makeup would compliment my colors I picked in these photos with the purples with simple earrings. My setting for this wedding look is a romantic evening setting. This would be great for an evening wedding!
The wedding turned out beautiful. My Sunday started out with me going early in the morning to have my make up done at Clinique by Chyan. She did an excellent job. I also found some products that I plan to try from them.
Since I didn’t get to go to church as usual, I listened to it in on 102.3 KJLH (radio) in car while driving. I made it back to my brother’s to eat breakfast, get ready and make sure I left with everything that I would need at the wedding venue.
“My Hair was put up in a ponytail with pin curls at the top.”
“Starting my make up at Clinique! ” And Yes these are my own natural eyelashes. They are very long.
I was running short on time. But here is my make up done. I wore my Mac Cosmetics Nude lipstick to complete my look. My accessories were a gift to me from bride Monique. The necklace, earrings, and bracelet really complimented my dress.
Thanks for stopping by. Shout out to Chyan from Clinique!! I will be writing about the wedding and sharing photos of everything soon. Happy Memorial Day! “A Day of Remembrance” God Bless❤ 💋

I took my wedding dress to Ramona Southard of Love And Lace Bridal Salon. I was having a hard time finding someone to tailor my dress, but when I went in to let Ramona know about my dilemma she let me know that my dress would be taken cared of. So here is a recap from yesterday.
This how the dress looked at first. We decided to have more layers added without making it look frumpy. So Ramona and I sat down to discuss what would be done and prices. We set my first fitting on April 19.
When I went in on April 19, I didn’t know what to expect. My younger daughters and I went in and was offered water while we sat down in the showroom. She brought the dress out for me to try on. When I put the dress on I was immediately pleased with how it turned out. See our first plan to add about 4 inches to the dress. But instead Ramona had to do things differently which turned out better instead.
This is what the dress looks like almost finished. I love it! The finishing touches are just to add more lining to front and back, dress was ready for pick up May 1 costing $55. So the total I spent on this dress, which includes the chiffon fabric I purchased from Joann’s that cost $17.48 with a coupon. My dress total is $82.48. My original dress would have been over $220 for the dress.
Those who need a excellent Bridal & Tailor should give Ramona a call and stop by. She is very dependable, fast, and honest. She gave me her opinion and listened to what I wanted. She really worked with me. You can check out Ramona Southard at LoveandLacebridalsalon.com
Her phone number is 949.861.8455
Feel free to leave your comments and opinions about my dress here. Enjoy your weekend. Thanks for stopping by❤💋
I’m still getting ready for my family’s wedding. I wanted to share my dress story with you all. This is the dress I originally was going to wear in the wedding.
It’s a Vera Wang from David’s Bridal, not in this color but Champagne and the sash would have been changed to purple. Well David’s Bridal didn’t have my size or color available and it wouldn’t be shipped in time.
So I decided to go check out Windsor Fashions. I told the sales lady that I needed a wedding dress in color Champagne. She brought me several dresses to try on. After a lot of trying on, I decided on this one.
When I went to the register, she rung up the dress and told me it was on sale. So I thought great cause I was bummed about my original dress and really just needed to find one at this point. She said you won’t believe how much the dress cost now! I looked cause the original price was $120. The dress was on sale for $10!!!! The shoes I tried on with dress was on sale too from $39 to $13, so I purchased them too (not to wear in wedding) along with a shawl and accessories for a grand total of $43 and some change. This made my day!
So I shared photo of my dress with bride to be and we both agreed that the dress was too short in the front. I went to JoAnn’s and purchased some chiffon fabric and dropped my dress off to be tailored at Wedding Tailor. I will share that in another post of what my dress looks like now. I’m very pleased with how it came out.
Enjoy your “Start of the Weekend” Happy Friday!!! Also sharing new music from J Lyric! Check him out! Thanks for stopping by ❤💋

” Never give up or lose faith in something that you know God has placed in your life. Be patient and remember there is a time for everything.”
Sometimes we have things that are placed in our lives that are there for us to accomplish or get through. We have to remember that it don’t always happen right when we think it should. It takes Hard Work and Growth to get there in some cases. In that we have to remember that God placed it there for a reason, and it is up to us to keep our Faith and not lose sight. Patience goes a long way. It is frustrating at times but as stated before it’s a Time for Everything to Happen. In God’s Time is Always the Best Time…
