My Mother’s Day weekend was a busy one. I actually got to enjoy some time alone and with my kids. Friday night it kicked off with me attending Aysha Aysha CD release party! I got to hear one of my favorite songs by her ( well I have more than one) Release Me. Her voice is amazing! The whole atmosphere was filled with smooth jazz sounds, clapping and heads moving to the beat of her music. The band and special friends performing sounded great also. I had my glass of wine enjoying every bit of the party.
Saturday my daughters and I attended The 23rd Annual King’s Daughter Tea. We enjoyed a lot of reflections on parenting and mistakes that some of us made. We discussed different topics, prayed, listened to music selections performed by Jackie Gouche, and enjoyed good food with tea and drinks. This allowed me time to bond with my young daughters. At the end of the tea we danced and said some good things to our families and friends.
Sunday on Mother’s Day we headed out to church, listened to a powerful sermon by Apostle Bam Crawford. I left church feeling grateful and excited about the positive things going on in my life. Also I’m very grateful for each of my five blessings from God that made me a mom. I had my children young and grew up with them. They are the ones that keep me going forward. I love them! Happy Mother’s Day to me! After church we went to Downtown Disney District to movie theater to see Avengers: Age of Ultron. This is the second time I seen this movie! My weekend concluded with dinner and getting ready for the week coming. I enjoyed every bit of my weekend. Here are some photos of my weekend…..
