Whatever we are waiting for – peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance – it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart.


We never understand why we go through certain trials, but what I realized is that I wouldn’t have any peace of mind until I was open and willing to accept with a grateful heart. I made a lot of changes. I know I’m still a work in progress but I’m happy with how far I’ve come.

Hi! I have been away from here for a little while busy with school work and a lot of things, but I wanted to get caught up here. I have a lot of new things to share. Today is a good read by J.Johnson that I’m sharing with you today. I hope you enjoy!


In order to make the best out of things we have to be willing to fight for our best life in each day. We must be willing to give ourselves the best chance at greatness possible, and this can only be done if our vices have a minimal effect on our lives. There will always be things in our life that need to be conquered, as no one is perfect, but we should never let these things conquer us because if they do, you will not be the best you can be. 


We must also be willing to keep as much peace with the people around us as possible. Not only should we keep peace, but a lot of times we will have to be an example of how a person is really strong because they never let anyone take their peace from them. 

Doing these things on a continuous basis will help to make us the best people that we may possibly become by our life’s end.

Life Lessons 🌻

Life has its own unique way of teaching lessons. So no matter how many times I get emotionally worked up, I will never end up depressed. No matter how many times I am shattered by people around me, I will pick up the pieces and begin again. No matter how many times my heart is broken, I will never ever stop believing in the power of love. Because I believe that through all the twists and turns of life it is also full of surprises just waiting to happen, and soon I will see the miracles happen in my life too. So I just stay strong and keep going.

Today I’m sharing a poem entitled “THE STRENGTH OF A WOMAN” by Naomi Johnson. I have been having a rough time for a couple of weeks now. What I noticed about myself is my mom starts to shine through me. I watched her go through things and always managed to remain calm and strong. I’m the same way although it took me some time to get here.

Thanks be to God for wisdom and strength! Thanks for allowing my mom to show how things should be handled. I love and miss you mom (RIP ❤️). I hope you all enjoy her poem…..
