Hair Care

Today I’m writing about my hair care. I have been letting my hair grow out and keeping it healthy in the progress of that. Some of my favorite shampoos and conditioner that I love are L’Oréal Paris ElVive Total Repair 5 shampoo and conditioner, Paul Mitchel Tea Tree Lavender Mint Shampoo, and their Tea Tree special conditioner. The tea tree products gives your scalp a little tingling while it’s on your scalp, so I let that sit on for a little while I’m showering and rinse out after. My scalp is very dry so I’m always trying to moisturize it while not using any heavy oils and or products that are too heavy for my type of hair. I have some pictures to share of my previous hairstyles and a couple of the products I listed here.

These pictures was taken in my car and this is the only time I can wear lipstick before having to remove it and put my mask 😷 back on to get out of the car. I wanted to clarify that here so everyone knows I’m being safe and cautious out here!

Divine Moments offer their products in a variety of scents also such as: Stress Relief, Lavender, Cucumber Melon, Vanilla, Mango, Honey Almond, Coconut Vanilla, Strawberries and Bubbly, Applelicious, Rasberry Bliss, Orange Crush, and Baby Baby. She will be having new scents to come as well.

The green Body Butter is “Applelicious” and the Pink one is ” Strawberries and Bubbly” . They smell so good. Vanessa also sent me her new Linen Spray! I Love it!

I have my favorite products that I use in my everyday beauty regimen and on occasions. I am big on taking care of my skin and overall health. So I’m sharing with you some of the products that I make sure to keep around the house. They are:

I use Tone Cocoa Butter & Shea Butter Body Wash and there is also a brown sugar scrub I use from the farmers market in Hollywood by Magical Soap. It’s all natural & phenomenal!

I love Murad products. They are great products for women of color & the only line that worked when acne was plaguing my face.
Wen hair cleanser is great for both natural and permed hair.
In the winter cocoa butter Vaseline right after a shower keeps me extra moisterized
Sephora’s Hand Food is perfect any time of the year…keeps my hands fresh

I've been making my own mask, since I was 15 (powdered milk (now use almond milk), oatmeal, honey), and Pantene (Curly Hair). Rebel Fleur perfume. Dove/Caress. I wash my face with Dove/Caress and use Witchhazel as an astrigent (one of my favorite products. Its good for a lot of things). I love Cover Girl's angled eyebrow archer. Even though I'm fresh faced most of the time, a good eye brow arch goes a long way. I love anything natural.
