Today I’m writing about my hair care. I have been letting my hair grow out and keeping it healthy in the progress of that. Some of my favorite shampoos and conditioner that I love are L’Oréal Paris ElVive Total Repair 5 shampoo and conditioner, Paul Mitchel Tea Tree Lavender Mint Shampoo, and their Tea Tree special conditioner. The tea tree products gives your scalp a little tingling while it’s on your scalp, so I let that sit on for a little while I’m showering and rinse of after. My scalp is very dry so I’m always trying to moisturize it while not using any heavy oils and or products that are too heavy for my type of hair. I have some pictures to share of my previous hairstyles and a couple of the products I listed here.
These pictures was taken in my car and this is the only time I can wear lipstick before having to remove it and put my mask 😷 back on to get out of the car. I wanted to clarify that here so everyone knows I’m being safe and cautious out here!
Today I finally had some time off to get some much needed things done at the college. This semester I decided to take less units while working and other ventures that I’m adding on. I am slowly getting close to finishing and graduating, which had me thinking that I’m finally in a better position to make time for me. I still have some stuff to overcome but a way continues to be made.
I made some more goals to accomplish by the end of this year! I’m grateful and thankful of every blessing that is given to me. ￼￼

Trying to stay positive in everything that comes my way have kept me moving forward. I’m always trying out new things to keep me and my thoughts on the right path. I do have my bad days but I have so many things going on that keeps me happy and content.
It’s not easy staying positive when you have many obstacles in the way. My advice is to work throughthem and focus on things you can change and continue to add more positive changes to that.
Happiness and self love are moment to moment choices. There will inevitably be times when we don’t make them. The beautiful thing is that every moment is a new opportunity to choose again. Every moment is a chance to apply what we’ve learned. We need to have the courage to do what we can and be happy with that.
Self love has been an ongoing thing with me. I am grateful and appreciative of my own growth and every chance I get to share my time with my family and others, but I continue to do take on goals, do things and take time out for ME….

I haven’t signed on here in a while…Life has just become more busy outside of here. But I plan to write more and get back to blogging more. Life is short so take some time out for yourself and use it wisely.
My daughter Allyssa went to two proms this year. The first was in March and second this month. I started to prepare for them last year before the holidays. The first prom was for special education students and the theme was “Hawaiian Nights”. The second prom was her actual school senior prom. The colors she wore for that was Gold and Black. We went for a classy and elegant look. I’m going to share her pictures and preparations here.
Hawaiian Nights theme prom was a lot of fun for my Princess 👸🏽!!!
Everyday I have been doing things to reach my goal. What has been hard for me is to not take on too many different things and projects at once. Yes I multitask, and eventually gets everything done, but after having anxiety and stress kick in.
So now I take the time to write things out and plan them, so that I can not lose my focus on getting the most important things done first. This also helps me to remember those details that I might miss in between. I deal with my stress and anxiety by journaling and writing. Life can get busy for us and we forget to focus on ourselves also. So take time to slow down at times. Take some time out for yourself and avoid stressful situations as much as you can….Listening to:
Life definitely have it’s ups and downs that makes us lose our focus. Distractions can take us away from what’s important at times. We have to remind ourselves to stay focused on our priorities. Don’t let distractions keep you from achieving your full potential. Take time our for your goals and yourself. Self love is important also❤️
